Vooride For Passengers

  • Passenger enters their destination in (Where to?) Section on the top of the App screen.
  • Clicks each Journey option to see the wait time, car sizes, and price; Confirms their pickup location and Clicks Request.
  • The Passenger is matched with a driver
  • A nearest driver will see and choose to accept or decline the Passenger’s Journey request. The Passenger will be automatically notified when the driver is about a minute away.
  • The driver then picks up the Passenger
  • The driver and the Passenger confirm the names of each other’s and the destination. Then the driver continues the Journey.
  • The driver will drive the Passenger to the desired destination.
  • The app has the option for the driver to access turn-by-turn directions, so the driver can concentrate on getting there and the Passenger can enjoy a comfortable Journey.

At the end of the Journey, the driver and Passenger can leave ratings and reviews for each other from 1 to 5 stars

  • Enter your desired destination address in the "Where to?" section.
  • Touch "CONFIRM PICKUP" or Touch your pickup location on the map to enter a different address
  • Select from the list of vehicle options available in your area. Select one for your Journey.
  • Touch "CONFIRM [vehicle option]." You may be asked to confirm your pickup location again.
  • Wait while the app finds you a nearest driver
  • When driver accepts your request, you'll see their location and estimated time of arrival on you app.
  • You can request a Journey with multiple stops.

To get a fare estimate, go through steps to request a Journey in-app, but don't confirm the Journey. Fare estimates are shown for each vehicle option if upfront pricing is available in your area.

  • Select from the list of vehicle options available in your area. Fare estimates are shown next to each one.

Vooride is available in London Only. With a Vooride account, you can request a Journey in London where Vooride operates, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Scheduling a Journey in advance

  • Enter your destination in the "Where to?" Section
  • Select from vehicle options and touch one to select it for your Journey
  • Touch the clock icon next to the "Request [vehicle option]" button
  • Set the date and time window for your pickup
  • Update your pickup location if necessary, then "CONFIRM PICKUP" "SCHEDULE [VEHICLE TYPE]," then "DONE"
  • Open the menu in the Vooride app and Click "Your Journeys"
  • Touch "Upcoming"
  • Touch " Journey"

The Vooride app cannot guarantee you with a specific driver.

When you request a Journey, your app sends your request to nearest driver at your pickup location.

There is no limit to the distance, you can carry on on a Journey, Journeys will automatically end after 3 and a half hours. The driver is notified by the driver app when this is about to happen,. Please tell the driver in advance if you're planning to travel a long distance. Some drivers want to make the return Journey home after finishing your journey, and it's always nice to inform them of a long Journey. 

If you want to continue when Journey automatically ends, please make a new journey request. As your previous driver is close to you, he may receive this new Journey request Requesting Vooride at the airport

You can use vooride app to & from All major airports in London.

When you have a flight to catch, check the ETA (ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL) for your required vehicle option 20-30 minutes before you're ready to request pickup. For some unavoidable reasons like road Works or heavy traffic can delay the travel times. Give some extra time to yourself it will help reduce the stress that can be caused by traveling on a long flight.

Your driver's vehicle should have enough space for your luggage. If you're planning the Journey with multiple luggage or extra Journeys, you should consider requesting an appropriate vehicle option like MPV or 8 Seater.

Before requesting pickup it will be best for you to collect your luggage from the baggage claim area and be ready to step outside to get picked up by the driver.

Some airports have special requirements about where Passengers can be picked up by vehicles. Your app will confirm pickup location(s) when you're required to meet a driver at a specific area or the level of the airport terminal.

After your Journey request is confirmed by a nearest driver, your app may ask you to select a specific terminal location where your driver should meet you. You can also call your driver or may also receive a call from your driver to clarify where you'll meet.

You can explore all vehicle options available in your area before confirming your Journey. Vooride offers multiple choices to get you to your destination safely and comfortably.

3. Select from the list of vehicle options available in your area 

4. Click one to select it for your Journey Depending on your area, you may also see the following next to each vehicle option: - Estimated Journey fare - Estimated time of arrival 

NOTE: Once you request a Journey, you cannot change your vehicle choice without cancelling and requesting the Journey again.

According to the local law in your area, service animals are permitted to accompany Journeys at all times.

If you're planning to Journey with a non-service pet, it will be best to contact the driver who confirms your Journey request. You can send a text message or call from your app to let the driver know That you have a pet to go with.

We request you to please help drivers keep vehicles clean for all the Journeys by bringing a crate or blanket to reduce the risk of damage or mess. Some of the drivers keep a blanket in the boot.

Before a Journey starts, your app provides an ETA (ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL) for when your driver should arrive at your pickup location.

After your Journey starts, your app provides an ETA (ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL) for when you should arrive at your destination.

Please note that ETA (ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL) times are estimates which is not guaranteed. For some unavoidable reason like heavy traffic or construction work on the road can increase travel time.

Before requesting your Journey, your app will show a time in the SET PICKUP LOCATION section. That time will estimate how long the nearest drive will take to arrive at your nearby drivers should take to arrive at your pickup location. 

At the bottom of your screen, you can view the ETA (ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL) for each vehicle option available in your area.

When your Journey starts, your app will time to time update the ETA (ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL) for your desired destination. Changing your pickup location When you request a Journey, the GPS in the app will suggest the best pickup location near to you.


1. Click on the pickup location section on the map

2. Enter a new address.

3. select one of the locations suggested by your app You can also change your pickup location after the Journey request sent.

2. Enter a new pickup point or drag the pin to any location on the map within the circle

3. Click the "Confirm" button to initiate your request You can only adjust your pickup location for one time, and it can only be moved within the circle that's shown on your screen. 

If you wish to contact your driver about a pickup location or talk about other ETA (Estimated time of Arrival) of the Journey you requested, you can do that through the app.

1. Click displays the driver's info at the bottom of your screen

2. Select "Contact" to choose calling or messaging your driver 

Note Drivers will not answer the call or reply to your text message when driving. Give them some time to do so.

You can cancel a Journey at any time before or after you've been matched with a driver.

To cancel before you are matched with a driver:

1. Click the info section at the bottom of your screen

2. Click CANCEL

3. You'll be asked to confirm. Click YES or NO

Once a Journey has started, you can end it by notifying your driver that you'd like to End the journey. Then the driver will end the Journey for you.

If By mistake you cancel a Journey while en Heading towards your destination, simply rebook the Journey. As your last driver will be close by, he will likely be able to accept the request again to continue the journey.

    What are the steps to sign up?

    Signing up to drive with Vooride is easy. You'll get started by sharing some info about yourself and the vehicle you'd like to drive on the Vooride platform. The best way to sign up is to download the driver app. You can also sign up at partners.Vooride.com.


    We'll need to review your:

    - Your driver's license number

    - Your vehicle registration

    - Additional info and documents for a driver screening in your area.

    Once your documents are checked by our staff and are approved, you will have full access to the app and then you can go online to receive requests and start making money.

    Requirements to sign up as a driver-partner

    You must be licensed by your local council or regulator before you can start driving with Vooride, as a private hire driver in the UK.
